Situated on a busy corner in the heart of Savannah’s downtown shopping district, Il Pasticcio Restaurant and Wine Bar has been wowing locals and travelers alike for over a decade. A regular favorite among local readers’ polls, Il Pasticcio received national attention after it was named one of the country’s ten best Italian restaurants by USA Today. Additionally, Southern Living magazine calls the restaurant “one of the South’s best food finds.” It should also be noted that Il Pasticcio makes a regular annual appearance in Wine Spectator magazine for its 300 + bottle list. We offer numerous selections from Italy and California, but also from South America, Spain, Australia and New Zealand. Our “wines by the glass” list is one of the largest in Savannah.

What was once the location of a Lerner’s department store became Il Pasticcio in 1993 when owner Pino Venetico opened the doors to a local population starved for a more metropolitan dining experience. Inside, tile floors and marble and brass accoutrements enhance the feeling that one has stepped into an authentic Italian trattoria. Floor to ceiling windows allow guests full views of bustling Bull and Broughton Streets.
